Sara, Ben, and I---two good friends that I get to work with--they are great!!
This is a pic of Michelle and Kara, two of the Junior Senators with STUGO. They are awesome women and I love getting to mentor them and serve with them. Michelle is one of the students I'm advising as she leads the trip to New Orleans on Spring Break!!
Pirate Night was our theme dinner this year, complete with Jack Sparrow and sword fighting! Blood was even drawn...ouch!
The pic of students walking shows that the weekend was beautiful and it was soooo warm--we had a blast on the zip-line, in the pool, on the blob and just laying in the sun! My favorite was a new activity they have that is a giant swing holding three people way up in the air. I went with Ben and one of the guys---they made me sit in the middle and pull the cord that made us fall---adrenaline---AHHH!!! Sorry no picture of that!
I just realized that I never said anything about the Wildhorse Retreat! So basically it's an all school retreat--about 400 of us (students, faculty and staff) out at Young Life's camp in Antelope, Oregon. It's a phenomenal camp run by incredible staff. I'm the director of the camp and in charge of all the details but I couldn't do it without the STUGO team that basically implements everything! It was a fabulous weekend overall as we were able to hear from amazing men and women about what they've learned as they've followed Christ. Since I get to choose the speakers I'm probably a bit biased, but I loved getting to listen to two of the profs. that had the most impact on me during my time as a student: Ray Lubeck and John MacMurray. I also felt like the opportunities I had to lead that weekend clarified more of how I need to be using my gifting! It was great!
Update on DC will be coming soon!!!

When I was reading about Wild Horse I was remembering our days laying in the sun. I was so caught in the past I was almost surprised when it said you were directing it all. My how times flies :)
