tree hugger graduate

So Oregon is known for being environmentally friendly.  And since I graduated from PSU, the epitome of eco-conscious education...I thought I should huge a tree!

I had a fabulous time at the hooding and was blown away by some words spoken by my professors.  The department chair told me that they were very impressed with my paper and presentation--that it was exemplary and exceptional!  I was almost stunned by her words as I'd been nervous that my topic was too abstract.  As she was placing the hood over my head, Janine (a professor of mine) said "you did an excellent job."  The memories of their words and the timing will stick with me for a long time, inspiring me to greater confidence concerning the steps the Lord may ask of me in the future.  I was amazed by how personal the time was and how sweet the interaction was with faculty and peers when PSU is the largest university in Oregon.

I also had a absolutely amazing time with my family who were all in town together for the first time in a couple years. I've barely seen them this year, so it was so sweet--filled with tons of laughter!  All four packed into my little condo and had a camp-out, complete with dad sleeping on the balcony!  

I am so thankful for the support of my family and friends in the process these past couple years. I am particularly blown away as I consider all that the Lord has provided in so many ways to bring me through. And...I cannot wait for next year and the new opportunities ahead!! Thank you everyone!!
